1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Bakram Market ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, then you may not access the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Bakra Market is a technology platform that connects buyers and sellers of livestock. We provide:

  • Online marketplace for livestock listings
  • Live auction platform for real-time bidding
  • Communication tools to connect buyers with sellers
  • User verification and authentication
  • Customer support services

Important: We are NOT a payment processor. All payments are made directly between buyers and sellers outside of our platform.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use our Platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Complete phone OTP verification
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Promptly update any changes to your information

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. User Roles and Permissions

Users can select one of two roles:

  • Buyer: Can browse listings, contact sellers, join auctions, and bid on livestock.
  • Seller: All buyer permissions plus can create listings and start auctions. Must pay listing fees.

5. Listing Guidelines

When creating listings, you must:

  • Provide accurate descriptions of the livestock
  • Upload actual photos and videos of the animal
  • Disclose all known health issues or defects
  • Set fair and reasonable prices
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

We reserve the right to remove any listing that violates these guidelines or applicable laws.

6. Auction Rules

Participating in auctions means you agree to:

  • Pay the auction entry fee as specified
  • Place genuine bids you're prepared to honor
  • Not collude with other bidders
  • Not bid on your own listings
  • Accept the highest valid bid if you win

Auction details:

  • Minimum bid increment: As set by seller
  • Auto-extend: 2 minutes if bid in final 2 minutes
  • Rate limit: Maximum 5 bids per minute
  • Winner notification: Within 5 minutes of auction end

7. Platform Fees

Our fee structure (for platform services only):

  • Buyer registration: FREE
  • Seller listing fee: ₹99 per listing
  • Auction listing fee: ₹99 per auction
  • Auction entry fee: As specified per auction

Important: Bakra Market does NOT process payments for livestock transactions. All payments between buyers and sellers are made directly in person. We are not a payment gateway and do not hold any buyer funds.

8. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Manipulate prices or bids
  • Violate any applicable laws
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access
  • Distribute malware or viruses

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Bakram Market are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Platform without our written consent.

10. Disclaimers

OUR PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WE DO NOT VERIFY THE ACCURACY OF LISTINGS OR THE IDENTITY OF USERS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Bakram Market and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform immediately ceases.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We'll notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
